On March 19th, the Feast day of St. Joseph, Catholic Social Services officially assumed responsibility of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Daycare. The center has been housed in its present location since 1997, after moving from Saint Gabriel’s Convent.

Catholic Social Services Day Care Center is a Keystone STARS Star 3 Center, & offers quality care for children age 6 weeks until they enter 1st grade.

Admission is made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency), age or sex.

The Center has a capacity to care for up to 40 children, is licensed by the Department of Public Welfare, and uses Pennsylvania’s Early Learning Standards to provide a safe, caring environment where children have the opportunity to learn as they play. It is a vital service for working families within the community.
